I wrote my first draft of The Green Beret Preparation and Survival Guide about a decade ago. I did my first version of a free slideshow about how to prepare for and survive the INEVITABLE pandemic about five years ago. Not I titled it with INEVITABLE.

And here we are, well into one and we still haven’t crested the first wave. It’s more of a tsunami, except it’s not receding. Further waves are piling on top. Our president has essentially said its over and will fade away as numerous states record numbers of infections. I go with the science.

I’m saddened at all the unnecessary death and suffering. This is not who we should be as human beings.

All I can say is we have to take care of ourselves. Ultimately, in all extreme survival situations, we can’t count on the government or others to take care of us. My wife just sliced up our first cucumber from our garden we started way back when and announced on one of these posts. It’s still not too late. She said it was the best she’d ever tasted. We have seven of these planters and they’re all green now with cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, lettuce and more. It’s not too late to get started!

What can we do?

Protect yourself. Minimize the amount of time around other people, particularly indoors.

WEAR A MASK. One of the most interesting things to occur is the hairdresser who tested positive after working with a number of people; none of whom contracted it because the hairdresser wore mask. Give a shit about people!

The Green Beret Pocket-Sized Survival Guide (same as above, minus the preparation part in order to be smaller in print)
